The two-hour interview with Vladimir Putin by Tucker Carlson which was done in Russia on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, is posted on his website. This is a very interesting presentation that makes us better understand what was at the beginning of a civil war between Russia and Ukraine but almost became World War 3.

THE TURTLE AND THE RABBIT...  By Bernard Bujold - The American presidential campaign of 2024 is reminiscent of that of 2016, and is also reminiscent of Lafontaine's fable “The Hare and the Tortoise”...  In the 2016 US presidential election, Hillary Clinton was comfortably leading the polls, and the Democrats had even prepared the victory party in a grand New York hotel.  Donald Trump, however, had been strategic and won with the highest number of electoral votes, despite a popular vote in Hillary's favor.  In 2020, Joe Biden narrowly won the election because of the COVID crisis, which traumatized the whole world and created a kind of fear of the Trump character.  In 2024, neither candidate dominates the campaign, except that observers recognize that Trump has a detailed policy agenda, unlike Harris, who occupies the “novelty” chair.
